One of the trends of recent years that I am so happy to see is the popularity of handmade crafts for sale. Obviously, Etsy has played a huge role in this. While I know Etsy is not perfect, I love the idea that they created this online marketplace for handmade goods. I have recently started a new book called “Daily Rituals: How Artists Work“. This is a little gem of a book that features dozens of artists, current and from centuries ago. Instead of focusing on their lives or achievements, this book only dives into their daily habits. Sounds like a mundane thing to focus an entire book on, but it is fascinating!
