Torreya State Park

Two weekends ago we met our good friends for a little family camping at Torreya State Park.  It is about a 3-hour drive north for us and is located on the Apalachicola River.  The landscape in this section of Florida is so different than the rest of the state. After our visit to Zion, our next stop was Bryce Canyon National Park. It was a short drive, about 1.5 hours long. The scenery along the way was very entertaining, and before we knew it, we had arrived. We just got back from a spring break vacation to Utah. It was a wonderful time to explore and adventure with our little family. While in Utah, we explored Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks. We also spent a few days in Salt Lake City. Our first stop was Zion National Park. We spent 3 nights in Zion. Last week we spent a week at the beach near St Augustine. It was wonderful and just what the doctor ordered. Although we love traveling to new places very much, this is the other type of vacation that we love – a home away from home type vacation.
